Banana bread is like a warm hug in loaf form, so let’s whip up a batch of pure comfort together.

Honey Banana Bread Bliss

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey (for that golden sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Optional Mix-Ins:

  • A handful of chocolate chips
  • Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, honey, granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, mixing until incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. If desired, fold in optional mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
