Gorham’s Green Thumbs & Nursery (another division of Gorham’s Golden Enterprises) sells heirloom seedlings (fruits and veg) and offers FRESH, TASTY, produce when the harvest is ripe (well that is if you want green tomatoes for frying!!) We also have charitable giving to veterans built into our business model!

Save your eggshells!
Today, as I picked some strawberries for my mom and son to try, I remembered that I shouldn’t just save some of those eggshells for my making compost (adding egg-scellent calcium) but for crushing up to put on around my strawberry plants! This gardening trick is so that slugs don’t make it to your ripening strawberries! The eggs rough, jagged edges hurt their soft tissue as they try to go and taste that juicy, red fruit BEFORE YOU GET A CHANCE TOO!!! You can thank me later!
